About Me!
Hi! My name is Jen Tran!
I’m a UX/Product Designer with a background in digital communications and an MBA in Organizational Leadership, which means I don’t just design interfaces — I design experiences that make sense for people and scale for businesses.
My path into UX came from a desire to merge how people think with how products are built. With a background in Communications and Anthropology, I naturally gravitated toward understanding behavior, motivation, and decision-making. UX became the place where all of that came together.
Today, I specialize in:
-
Application and product design
-
User flows and interaction design
-
Brand and experience consistency
-
Translating research into actionable solutions
I’m especially interested in work that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. I enjoy collaborating closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to uncover problems, define direction, and design solutions that are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
What sets me apart is how I approach problems. I ask questions. I look for patterns. I care about the why behind decisions. My leadership background helps me navigate ambiguity, communicate clearly, and move teams forward with confidence.
At the end of the day, I believe good design should feel effortless to the user — even when the work behind it is complex.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me exploring the food scene, hunting down great tea spots, or working on creative side projects that keep my curiosity sharp.
